So you are looking for a romantic city to take your new partner for the weekend? There are plenty of choices close to home, most within a two hour flight. You can consider a boutique hotel in Paris or apartments in Rome or even a cottage in Devon.
The first trip abroad together when you are dating is always nerve-wracking. Until now you have only seen each other through rose tinted spectacles and now you are faced with the harsh reality of being close to them for a few days! What if they decide that they don't like you after all?
The key is to be yourself. After all, that is why the person chose you in the first place because they like your personality. Go for a city that you feel comfortable with and have preferably visited before so that you will not be nervous on that front. And don't forget the little extra touches. They need not be too expensive but they will be appreciated! A small bunch of flowers on arrival, a romantic moonlight walk, a river cruise.
